Our team work only with authentic materials that have their own distinctive character and add a gorgeous depth and richness to our furniture.
We also invent our own finishes that take advantage of natural chemical processes to achieve patinas of rare depth and character. Wood may be oiled, brushed, limed or ebonised. Metals may be brushed, waxed, aged or polished.
In each different piece of furniture, materials and effects are combined into a single organic whole with its own distinct character.
Our hardwoods, except where stated are hand finished with a clear microporous hard wax / oil. The natural vegetable oils and waxes allow for an even colouring accentuating the natural colour tone and grain of the wood.
